In a strange coincidence, I have the UK quad on my wall for the film TIMES SQUARE (1980), and the very same triple bill at the Victory is featured in the background, alongside marquees for PENITENTIARY and DEATH...something (the SHIP bit is obscured), so I guess that very week was when the designer chose to take pictures of 42nd Street marquees to feature in the movie's poster.
